At Fern Creek Traditional High School, we prepare our students for success after high school graduation. We set high expectations for all partners in the educational process—students, staff, and parents—by employing a traditional approach to schooling.
Our traditional school philosophy promotes development of intellect, citizenship, personal integrity, moral values, and self-discipline in a structured learning environment. At Fern Creek Traditional High School (FCTHS), we tailor the educational experience to fit the individual teen's needs. We actively partner with local community and business leaders, colleges, universities, and representatives of post-secondary schools to add extra value to our students' education at every grade level.
Traditional schooling operates according to clearly established teacher and school guidelines. Active parental support is a necessary ingredient of this program with both the student and parent agreeing to the program's requirements. FCTHS students also are required to agree to and to abide by a uniform dress code.
